Choosing a hydrating serum for dry skin
A closer look at our Rejuvenating Face Serum, its formula, and the step before moisturizer.
When your skin feels dry, it’s easy to end up with three new bottles and no clearer idea of what to use. A serum can be an extra step, but the moisturizer you put on afterwards still matters.
Our Rejuvenating Face Serum is a lightweight formula with squalane, niacinamide, glycerin and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid. It sits before moisturizer in a morning or evening routine. It also contains fragrance, an important detail if your skin is sensitive to scented products.
Face Serum
Our lightweight Rejuvenating Face Serum contains squalane, niacinamide, glycerin and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid. Use before moisturizer, morning or evening.
- Lightweight serum
- Before moisturizer
- Morning or evening
Serum first, moisturizer afterwards
If you’re looking for a hydrating serum for dry skin, start with the order of the two products. Our serum goes on after cleansing and before moisturizer. Adding it doesn’t mean dropping the cream you already use.
You may prefer a serum’s lighter texture for that first leave-on layer, then follow with your usual moisturizer. If you’re happy with a shorter routine, you can keep it short. A serum is an addition, not something every skincare shelf has to contain.
Inside Rejuvenating Face Serum
The full formula includes squalane, niacinamide, glycerin and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, along with the other ingredients listed on the pack. We describe it as lightweight and position it for use beneath the rest of your skincare.
The ingredient list can tell you what is in the bottle; it cannot tell you exactly how your skin will respond. For a new serum, the full formula is more useful than choosing on the strength of one familiar ingredient name.

If your skin needs fragrance-free care
For dry skin, the American Academy of Dermatology recommends gentle, fragrance-free products and a cream or ointment for moisturizing. Our serum contains fragrance, so it won’t suit a fragrance-free routine. It’s better to know that before buying.
Persistent dryness, or skincare that burns or stings, deserves more attention than another product purchase. The same dermatology guidance recommends getting advice if dryness continues or products cause irritation.
Morning or evening?
The serum is intended for either. You might prefer using it in the evening, when you have fewer layers to put on, or in the morning before your day cream. Choose the time that fits the routine you already follow.

How to use it
Keep your familiar products around the new serum step.
-
Start after cleansing
Use the cleanser you normally reach for and follow its directions.
-
Apply the serum
Follow the amount and application instructions on the serum pack. Avoid guessing an extra-large serving because your skin feels dry.
-
Finish with moisturizer
Follow with your chosen moisturizer. In the morning, keep sunscreen in the routine too.
Adding a serum without changing everything else
If you like your cleanser and moisturizer, there’s no need to replace them at the same time. Keeping those familiar makes it easier to notice whether you enjoy the serum’s texture and the way the products feel together.
Give the new step an ordinary setting: the evening after work, or the morning before you leave home. Notice whether you like the texture with your moisturizer and, in the morning, under your sunscreen and makeup. If the combination feels too heavy, you might prefer a different formula or a shorter routine.

There isn’t a fixed result or timeline we can promise for your skin. Choose a formula that suits your needs and stop if it causes irritation.
